Community Safety First
Chuck Conder’s top priority on the City Council is always to keep residents and families safe from crime and violence.
This focus has resulted in a 10% drop in violent crime and a 16.9% in property crimes.
We must remain vigilant and reduce crime further.
Chuck fully backs Riverside’s police officers. He will always work to ensure we have the best qualified officers protecting the innocent of our community against crime and violence.
Effectively Reducing Homelessness
The Sacramento Establishment has turned California into a sanctuary for drug addicted and mentally ill homeless individuals. 28% of the entire unsheltered homeless population living in our state. The failures of their feel-good and do-nothing policies can be seen on the streets and in the parks of Riverside.
Enough is enough.
Chuck Conder supports helping people off the streets through housing assistance tied to real accountability that prevents criminal activity and permanently reduces homelessness.
Controlling Spending & Costs
Chuck Conder is the voice of financial sanity on the City Council scrutinizing all spending, fighting exorbitant city contracts, and ensuring the city’s budget is balanced.
His vocal defense of taxpayers is why Riverside is on solid financial ground.
Today’s cost of living is too high. Chuck will work to rein in costs passed on to Riverside’s residents by opposing unnecessary rate increases for electricity, water, or trash collection.
Reducing Traffic & Congestion
No one likes sitting in traffic. Sadly, traffic and gridlock is a fact of life throughout California, and specifically here in the Inland Empire,
As Riverside’s representative on the Riverside County Transportation Commission, Chuck consistently fights to bring more of your tax dollars back to our city’s streets.
Chuck Conder supports speeding up road repairs, keeping big rig trucks off residential streets, and finding innovative solutions to reduce congestion on our main streets and freeways.
Fire & Emergency Preparedness
When a fire or medical emergency occurs, the faster the Fire Department can respond to a 9-1-1 call can make the difference between life and death.
You can’t wait an extra minute or two for firefighters and paramedics to reach your home.
To better protect residents and speed up response times, Chuck Conder fully supports building two new fire stations to serve our community.
